What is the organic shrimp?
The organic shrimp is shrimp farmed naturally in mangroeforest. The post larvae either might follow tides or introduced into the mangroeforest, shrimp eat natural feeds available in the forests like leaves, aquatic plants, planktons, algae…to grow up.
Which species of the organic shrimp are?
The organic shrimp includes three species: Black tiger shrimp, Pink shrimp and White shrimp. In there, Black tiger shrimp has the biggest volume and farmers actively introduce post larvae into the mangroeforests.
What are the values of the organic shrimp?
The organic shrimp is naturally sweet, firm meat, dark color, big sizes. Shrimp is absolutely farmed without feeding of industrial feeds, no using anti-biotics or any chemicals.
Where the organic shrimp farmed in Viet Nam?
The organic shrimp is mainly farming in Bac Lieu, Ca Mau and Kien Giang provinces in Mekong delta. In there, Ca Mau is developing the organic shrimp farming model strongest and having the largest squares of mangroeforests.
Which CB certify organic shrimp?
There are three CBs to certify the organic shrimp widely: EU Organic, Naturland and Bio Suisse. Certified organic shrimp will be labelled and put logos on packaging.
