In particular, the Central region of Vietnam (from Da Nang to Nha Trang) has just experienced a serious flood that caused heavy damage. This is a key shrimp farming area in the Central region, but due to severe rains and floods, many ponds were damaged and shrimp escaped.

Shrimp price forecast

Shrimp prices are likely to continue to rise from now until before the Lunar New Year holiday. Prices will improve when the new harvest season begins in 2026 (from mid-May).
