VIET NAM SHRIMP UPDATE AMID COVID RESURGENCE ON JULY 19, 2021

Since 0a.m today July 19, all provinces in Mekong delta are applying the directive 16 of Viet Nam government to tackle with dangerously rising of Covid, people & vehicles just go out with right reasons. Even though, the provinces still prioritize for production and distributing foods in the region and transporting to HCM city 

Yesterday, Viet Nam had the historic infection milestone with 5887 cases for whole Viet Nam and 4692 cases for HCM city only. Total infected cases so far for Viet Nam and HCM are 52,164 and 32,926 respectively, total death cases so far are 254 

Other Mekong delta provinces where shrimp farming and processing are having the infected cases till yesterday July 18:

• Ca Mau: 19
• Bac Lieu: 12
• Soc Trang: 64
• Kien Giang: 45
• Tra Vinh: 65
• Hau Giang: 31
• Can Tho: 83
• Ben Tre: 194
• Tien Giang: 762 

Early this week 29, the prices of Vannamei have slightly dropped compared with last week 28, the current farm-gate prices of Vannamei as following:

At moment, all factories, premises, businesses...must apply 3TC (Production in place, Eating in place & Sleeping in place) for their workforces. If which enterprises do not satisfy with this 3TC then they have to halt the production
